Vodafone 360 Widgets

360 Challenge: The client wanted some fresh ideas for mobile widgets that could be brought cost effectively to a range of new and existing mobile phones.

Method: The team brainstormed widget concepts that could be delivered within the budget avialable. These were put to the client for approval before being developed. In total 20 widgets were developed.

Solution: Within 20 days, 20 widgets were specified, functionally designed, creatively polished, tested, tested some more and released. Visit widgets.vodafone from a Vodafone phone to access our apps. Read more »

TagsEasy

tagseasy Challenge: The client wanted to outsource its ongoing software development to a lower cost alternative.

Method: Under agreement we took in the code and worked through the key modules and elements to gain confidence in the workings of the app. Once satisfied, we were then ready to start making changes and modifications to the APIs and also to the server installation / management aspects of the app.

Solution: The client has achieve a 10 fold reduction in ongoing maintenance and software engineering costs for the platform since the project started. The client uses Xgenta for all maintenance and ongoing development work. Read more »

FirmStep

firmstep Challenge: To extend the capability of their Events Management portal.

Method: The client had a clear idea what the new service had to achieve. A dedicated team drew up detailed specifications and worked closely with the client throughout development and testing.

Solution: A web service was created using RSS to run java scripts and also integrated with Google Maps and Microsoft Bing. The FirmStep website now has a slick user interface created using Ajax for the front-end. FirmStep now have an improved business offering which further engages their customers and builds stronger online communities. Read more »

GoodFusion

GOODFUSION Challenge: Client had a live website but wanted to achieve a more polished look and feel to the site with a new vibrant design.

Method: We helped advise the client on options and alternatives, and undertook and online workshop to get the clients ideas incorporated fully.

Solution: A simple but effective website was generated providing low maintenance and easy editing of the content. Read more »

Arrival of the year

arrival Challenge: Client wanted to renew the look, feel and functionality of its award winning service.

Method: The client had several ideas for how it wanted the site revitalised, including improved accessability. We worked through ideas and prioritised a new feel for the website preferred by the client.

Pet Pupz

petpupz Challenge: Client had already launched a successful Facebook app but wanted to enhance the feel of the app.

Method: A workshop was held with the client to understand their requirements and to put forward suggestions.

Solution: A flash based tool was built to give users a scene and environment for their online pets. The functionality included drag and drop themes with a purchase option. The back-end was development using PHP and Amazon S3 hosting. Read more »

MyHandle

MyHandle Challenge: Design and build a new website using a content management system.

Method: Our team worked with the client to capture their requirements, particularly the need for privacy and security of user content and to integrate with 3rd party ser such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail.

Solution: The website built used ASP.Net 2.0 and MSSql database and Mootools 1.2 as a Javascript Library. Many of the pages used Ajax for a smooth user interface. Flash was also used in the site for users portraits. A full user access admin system was also implemented. Read more »

FlyMustang

FlyMustang.png Challenge: Development of engaging homepage with booking ability for jet charter startup flyMustang.com

Method: To achieve the requirements a combination of flash and user editable google docs where used.

Solution: The website was built using Flash CS4 for video elements with JAVA being used for the menu structure. Instead of a classic CMS innovative use of Google docs allowed the right level of user editable content with least amount of time and cost.Take a look here »
