Depending on the needs of your business, there are several ways to engage with Xgenta:
Fixed Price Model
A fixed price approach offers certainty before a engagement is started.
The scope of work is agreed, requirements are clarified, a budget is set and timelines agreed for the completion of the project
For a first time engagement, this model can provide a sense of security. You can be confident that Xgenta will deliver on time and at the agreed price.
This model requires a thorough needs analysis and clear detailed specification documents. It relies on the information supplied by your business to estimate development time and cost. This model requires an open and honest approach and a willingness co-operate actively with Xgenta so that the basis of our agreement is sound.
- We agree the nature and probable scope of the project. Our experts then prepare the detailed specification
- When the requirements and the specification documents are complete, an estimate on price and timelines is made. Once agreed a contract contract is prepared for signature.
- As soon as the signed agreement and the initial payment is received, Xgenta will start the development phase

Time and Materials
In this model, charges are made for time actually spent by the project managers and developers involved in the development work.
This model is most convenient for open-ended, longer-term projects where it is not possible to produce a complete specification at the outset.
The commercial assumption is that both sides will collaborate to produce mutually profitable results. But, as with the other models, this requires a thorough analysis of needs and clear detailed specification documents. Our team will rely on the information supplied to plan the work on the project. It requires an open and honest approach.
- We agree the nature and probable scope of the project. Our experts then prepare the detailed specification
- When the requirements and the specification documents are complete, an estimate on price and timelines is made. Once agreed a contract contract is prepared for signature.
- The work is billed at the end of every month based on regular reports, monthly time sheets and pre-agreed hourly rates depending on the expertise of the project team.

Dedicated Team
This model is the temporary outsourcing of one or more business operations to Xgenta.
A dedicated team may consist of business specialists, analysts, researchers, project managers, developers, testers and designers. No matter how many people belong to this pool of experts, their work time is reserved exclusively to the client.
This team usually will work on our premises and is organised and managed by us on a day to day basis.
The main advantages are:
- Quick to get started
- Lower ongoing costs
- A core team of experts on permanent stand-by with the flexibility to engage further resource on a switch on/switch off basis to boost performance
- Flexibility of operations. Requirements can be changed at any time.

- As soon as the agreement is signed and the initial payment is received, your team will be made available.
- A monthly fee will keep the dedicated team in place. If the workload decreases, notice to vary or terminate the agreement can be given. If the workload increases, additional staff can be added at agreed monthly rates.
